Seattle Theatre Group


Programs the Paramount and Moore Theatres.
Hosts large-scale visiting dance and ballet companies, and select local artists (Pat
Graney, Spectrum).
Opportunities also for involvement in their
education and outreach programs, particularly annual Dance This project.

Shoreline - Lake Forest Park Arts Council

Performances held at Shorecrest PAC
Presents dance companies with links or appeal to Shoreline audiences as part of mixed arts programming.

UW World Dance Series


Performances held at Meany Hall, University of Washington
Annual series of visiting national and international dance companies, including Mark
Morris Dance Group.

Velocity Dance Center


Opportunities for local artists through The Bridge Project, Under-Construction,
SCUBA National Touring Initiative, Strictly Seattle, Special Guest Artist Series, and
rentals of studios.

Presenters - festivals & special events:

Dance Art Group


Produces Seattle Festival of Alternative Dance and Improvisation (SFADI) (held
annually in August) and various related special events throughout the year.

NW Folklife


Produces the annual Folklife Festival, held Memorial Day weekend.

Multiple programs of ethnic dance and music; applications due in November for
following year's event.

One Reel


Produces Bumbershoot, Summer Nights at the Pier, Teatro Zinzanni, etc.

Bumbershoot, on Labor Day weekend, is mostly a music festival but features a dance
and performance program too.
